Bringing her own flair of "biker bar country" to the heart of Nashville, TN, is Gravel Road Music Group's own rising singer-songwriter, Mika Lynch. Influenced by household names such as Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, and Janis Joplin, and by the country radio she was raised on, Mika's sound blends the tried-and-true storytelling the genre is known for with the edge of rock n' roll and her wild spirit & youthful energy. With a background in acting for film, television and musical theatre, Mika is no stranger to the stage. Finding the most fulfillment in singing roles, she soon realized her true passion lay in singing & artistry. At age 5, she started taking vocal lessons after begging her parents to enroll her. By age 12, she began pursuing a music career and released her debut single that same year; she's been chasing her country music dreams ever since. Now stepping into a new chapter with a more mature sound, she hopes to remind fans both old and new through her music that "The best person to be is yourself,"and "Whether it's telling someone else's story or her own, music is universal and can help people connect with one another." Penning relatable stories about the irreplicable charm of small town living, waiting on the one you love, heartbreak & loss, and the country way of life she's accustomed to having grown up on a livestock hobby farm, there's nothing less than authentic about Mika's music. Her most recent release, "Playing with Fire," an early Lambert-esque track, has Mika seeking the ultimate vengeance on a cheating ex. The high-energy breakup tune also debuted on Music Row's Country Breakout Radio Chart and was added to rotation on country radio stations across the United States. With her music garnering demand, Mika spent the past year touring cross-country and lighting up stages in 30+ states.
