About

Oliver Pigott writes songs that are raw, melodically intricate and poetically alive. Delivered with a heartfelt journeyman’s voice, he mixes folk n soul with '70s nostalgia, leading with a strong hook and a penchant for honest and enigmatic storytelling.

Oliver Pigott is a singer/songwriter, musician and actor. He's written hundreds of songs in his career, toured and recorded across Europe and North America and acted on both stage and screen. Oliver's time in the entertainment business has seen him as frontman for projects of varying genres, from folk/pop to country, electronic, Americana, soul and rock. He's worked with industry luminaries and has recorded in premier studios, including Dark Horse Recording in Franklin, TN, Abbey Road in London, England and CBC Studios in Toronto, Canada. Oliver's philanthropic efforts in Canada have been highly praised. His original song “Walk You to The Water”, was the featured song for Renascent – one of Canada’s largest addiction treatment facilities. The song went on to inspire the Benefit Concert "Walk You To The Water" with performances by Canadian icon Gordon Lightfoot and Oliver Pigott held at The Glenn Gould Studio. The concert helped raise over $80,000 to support families impacted by addiction. Oliver appeared as a finalist, alongside his brother Sebastian, on the closing season of Canadian Idol. During one of the performance episodes, esteemed show judge Jake Gold, (manager of the Tragically Hip) proclaimed on air that Oliver was the best male vocalists in the history of Canadian Idol franchise. He was later managed by Jake Gold and went on to perform and record internationally with his brother as The Pigott Brothers, writing songs for the CBC Gemini award-winning and internationally syndicated TV series "Being Erica." Oliver's singing was also feautured in the hit TV series "The Next Step" . His vocal on the song “Elevator” has garnered over 2.8 million streams and is one of the show's soundtrack favorites. Oliver's original music has also been showcased in commercial spots and feature films, including the film "Lost Angels," which won awards for Best Feature Film Soundtrack and Best Original Score at film festivals across the USA. In 2017, Oliver was invited to be the honorary vocalist for the War Memorial in Ottlawa to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. The nationally broadcast program was a touching moment for veterans in attendance, as well as Canadians across the country. Oliver is currently writing, recording and performing in Nashville. His debut American single, "Eyes My Daddy Gave Me", was produced by Billboard record producer Clarence Jey and mixed by 2x Grammy award-winning Brandon Bell. This spring 2025, Oliver will be releasing a series of singles leading up to the release of his debut American album. Oliver continues to contribute to philanthropic events like his recent benefit performance for the TN Rangers and their rescue efforts in Eastern TN and North Carolina. He sings on the worship team at Hillsboro Baptist in Leiper's Fork and works as a musicianary alongside his wife in their family minisitry, Lamblion Ministries.
