Josey Clay is a Tennessee native, born in Nashville and raised just 35 minutes West in the - "Great State of Dickson, TN." - as He’ll say. After picking up a guitar and writing his first song by 14, Josey moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee in 2018 to begin a pursuit of song writing and country music. After several years of some "dues paying", a lot of opportunity; along with, a lot of hard work and late nights, Josey made the “very tough decision to make the move back home.” Now Josey is pursuing His dream of "Just trying to make a livin, playing Country Music” Living only 15 minutes from his childhood home and family. Working a bar during the busy, tourist filled, Nashville morning hours by day, & Leaning over a worn Martin guitar named "Darlin", telling His stories in singing His songs by night.
