Originally in Maryland and currently in Tennessee, C.J. Benoit has been a driving force in the entertainment industry since he joined his first band in 2007. Known for his gritty vocals, masterful guitar work, accordion and harmonica work and deep-rooted Louisiana and Texas influence, Benoit brings a mix of original songs and fresh takes on classic blues, folk, and rock. Whether he’s playing with the full band or flying solo, his music transports listeners straight to the heart of the bayou.
Known primarily as the frontman and multi-instrumentalist of the eclectic group Los Swamp Monsters, C.J. Benoit is a driving force in the entertainment industry with his genre-defying fusion of Rock, Blues, Country and Texas and Louisiana influences, borrowing heavily from Doug Sahm, Jerry Jeff Walker, Tony Joe White and JJ Cale. With Gritty vocals, musicianship on a minimum of three out of a whopping 45 musical instruments, and storytelling, C.J. will transport listeners to the heart of the Bayou.
