His lyrics tend to be socially conscious with a heavy dose of working class struggle having lost nearly everything in the 2008 economic crash. He does mostly original music but does know a few country classics by artists like Bobby Bare, Dolly Parton and Hal Ketchum. This Nashville newcomer is a spry 56 years old. Better late than never.
